Hello all,
Just wanted to say a big thanks to all who came to the Big Bunkfest Ballroom. We had sixteen different acts up on the stage (!) including a nine piece fiddle band, a ukulele player, a great poet and many new ballroom faces. Of course none of this would work without such a fantastic audience so equal thanks go to you too!
I hope that some of you stayed for the weekend and heard some of the music around the Bunkfest. Highlights for me were Seth Lakeman and Jody Wyatt. But, I was gutted that I missed Warblefly – saw them years ago in the Elm Tree in Oxford and they were very fab in a Poguesey kind of way. I would have liked to see Cara Dillon and Kila too. Oh well.
I’ve got the pics back from the last Ballroom and jolly good they are too. They’ll be up on the site over the next couple of days. Thanks, as always, to Abi for doing such a grand job.
